But the m...I find dappled horses tricky to do well. But the marquis and his horse are looking very good so far!<br />I've been painting a bit of red lately myself. It's not easy to get good coverage and a rich color. I've tried different paints over the years and I can get a dark red, a rosy color, or scarlet. <br />I'm trying some old GW red wash over Foundry red madder shade and main color on my current batch of red minis. The madder on it's own is a bit too dull, almost rose.
